A law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with significant civil litigation experience to join their team in representing survivors of sexual abuse.
The role involves managing all aspects of litigation, including drafting complaints, conducting depositions, handling discovery, and preparing for trial.
The ideal candidate will also have the opportunity to independently carry a caseload and develop their own area of expertise.

Duties :
- Draft and file complaints, motions, and other legal documents related to civil litigation
- Conduct discovery, including responding to written discovery requests and managing document production
- Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
- Represent clients in court proceedings and during trials
- Manage and develop a caseload independently, with opportunities for growth and specialization
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on complex cases
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process
Requirements :
- Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing civil litigation
- Experience representing plaintiffs in injury matters is preferred
- Candidates with litigation experience in liability cases, such as insurance defense, will also be considered
- Strong litigation skills, including experience in discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
Education :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications :
Admission to the Maryland State Bar
Skills :
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
