Entry Level Surveyor
Working with us, you will :
Perform Surveying tasks under the direct supervision of a Professional Surveyor, which includes many of the following activities : Prepare drawings, maps, reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D software and related software packages.
Perform field work to support survey projects. Assist in maintaining survey equipment and survey ACAD template Participate in planning, design and implementation stages of project work.
Collaborate with other design professionals (Engineers, Architects, Landscape Architects and Planners)
- Receive mentoring and guidance on the Surveying profession.
- Provide additional support for various Smithgroup professionals as needed.
An ideal candidate has :
- A bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or related degree, or is in pursuit of their degree, is preferred.
- Experience operating electronic total stations, GPS equipment, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Willingness to embrace all aspects of surveying in both the field and office environments.
- Proficiency in basic engineering and surveying support calculations.
- The ability to communicate effectively.
- The ability to contribute to and participate in a collaborative team environment.
