Job SummaryThe Principal Security Consultant for Security Architecture is a client-facing leader within the Cybersecurity Business Unit for Stratascale.

The Principal Security Consultant will work with our Client Advisors, Cybersecurity Advisors, other Principal Security Consultants, and subject matter experts within the Business Unit to identify, qualify, and build service-centric solutions for our clients.

The Principal Security Consultant will engage with Stratascale’s Enterprise Clients to uncover, develop, and win security services (both project-based professional services and managed services) opportunities by building strong client relationships at technical, architect, and executive levels.

The Principal Security Consultant will consult with client stakeholders and influencers on security products and services to enable business and address client risk concerns and objectives.

We call it Digital Agility.To learn more about Stratascale visit our website : ResponsibilitiesIncluded but not limited to : Develop best practices, strategies, and methodologies for new cybersecurity service offerings based on client engagements and needs, and work with the delivery teams within the Cybersecurity Business Unit to ensure a seamless transition of those services to quality delivery outcomesCreate an intellectual property for Stratascale by building new cybersecurity evaluation capabilities, prescriptive approaches across IT domains, and structure for automation, along with tactical and strategic initiativesResponsible for driving gross margin generated by professional services and product sales, contributing to the business unit goalsTake ownership of client engagement for new opportunities, representing various products and services opportunities by engaging where appropriate, following up with prospects to discover, defend , and acquire new businessCollaborate and engage with clients to ensure account retention for security solutions and services business in existing accountsCollaborate, develop , and execute strategy for top prospects with the sales team to discover, grow and acquire new businessCollaborate and engage with multiple levels of contacts within an organization, including but not limited to CISO, CIO, IT Directors, CTO, and Architects as neededBuild solid relationships and trust with the technical decision makers, and executive stake holders and own all aspects of technical closure of sales opportunitiesEducate clients with product and services training, demos, and solution deep divesCollaborate with Enterprise Cybersecurity Advisor and drive all aspects needed of the sales processDrive business based on region / territory strategic account planning in collaboration with the account executive and extended teams as appropriateDemonstrate leadership to ensure that the company’s recommended solutions are comprehensive, achieve client expectations, and meet client business needsDevelop relationships with tier 1 and tier 2 vendors and services partnersOngoing training and learning to understand the company services offerings in all security solution practice areas by attending company training and expanding knowledge through self-studyEducate and develop sales teams on technical selling, product training, services, and technology trends by setting up formal training and relationship building as neededMentor consultants, analysts, and engineers sharing knowledge, skills, and experience to improve the overall quality of deliverables and services within the practiceQualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience10 years of client-facing experience working on complex security architecture projects across the suite of hybrid cloud security architectures and implementations / functions7 years of experience and expertise in building complex security architectures for enterprise-class clientsRequired SkillsPossess a real passion for technologyOutstanding written and verbal communication and strong ability to build relationships with clients and OEM partnersProactive and self-motivated mindsetExcellent negotiation skills and ability to resolve and close complex technical and selling situationsAbility to work effectively, add value as a team member, and assume a leadership role for the teamAbility to train and disseminate information within an area or operation and work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externallyAbility to influence and lead all aspects of the sales cycle and engage appropriate internal and external subject matter experts as neededAbility to engage and discuss technical and non-technical concepts with a wide array of client audience types, including C-Suite, VP / Director, Architect, Engineer, and Analyst resources.

Some examples include, but are not limited to : Firewall, Email and Web security, EDR and EPP solutions, NAC, MDMSecurity orchestration and automation (SOAR), Container and Cloud SecurityIOT / ICS / OT Security solutions, DevSecOps, XDRIAM, MFA, SSO, CASB, PAM, Visibility and Analytics, SIEM, Zero TrustStrong fundamental understanding of security services engagements and how they address client risk exposure and use cases.

Some examples include, but are not limited to : Maturity assessments, 3 rd party risk assessments, IOT / ICS / OT security assessments, PCI / HIPAA assessmentsRed / Blue / Purple team assessments, security policy developmentSecurity tools rationalization assessment, Solution implementation servicesPenetration testing, vulnerability assessments, Incident response servicesCertifications RequiredIndustry certifications (preferred) : CISSP, CISA, SANS / GIAC, etc.

Vendor / OEM certifications : Palo Alto NetworksFortinetCheckpointCrowdstrikeTaniumEtc.Unique Requirements25% travel for this roleAdditional InformationThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $230,000 - $300,000 which includes a base salary and bonus.

The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
