In this role, your daily responsibilities in the Housing and Residence Life department will include supporting staff, administrative operations, process improvements, planning, assigning housing, budgeting, and more.

Leads and manages the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting for a division, college or large department.
Essential Functions
Manages financial and fiscal operations, to include the development and administration of capital and / or operating budgets and expenditures, and the establishment and management of financial control systems.
Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, objectives and short and long-range strategic planning.
Coordinates the preparation of financial reports, special analyses and information requests; may present recommendations for programmatic and fiscal changes.
Leads division, college or department budget and / or administrative operations training, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.
May supervise the work of others.

Requirements Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field by hire date
Preferred Education Minimum Experience
One (1) year of experience in finance or related field
Preferred Experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to think critically
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse population
- Strong supervisory skills
- Ability to work within software programs effectively
