SNI Companies are looking to hire an experienced Legal Assistant to join our existing team

This is an onsite role in Ft
Lauderdale that is M-F, full time hours
Responsibilities
- Collect / examine / organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation
- Draft & proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings and contracts, knowledge of writing, proofreading, and translating Motions
- Provide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining calendar and making travel arrangements
- Research regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal advice
- Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions
- Manage, scan, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
- Answer incoming / outbound calls, keep messages, email messages
- Request medical records-label & file these as well Qualifications
- 3+ year of experience as an administrative assistant (preferably in a law firm or in a corporate legal department), legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal
- Detail-oriented and highly organized (Will be scheduling as well)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines
- Bi-Lingual a must (Spanish or Creole)
