Job Summary :
Seeking a Pension Benefits Analyst to manage plan administration, benefit calculations, and annual data updates, ensuring compliance with plan documents and government regulations.
Job Requirements :
- Degree or equivalent experience in a related field (human resources, benefits, pension, 401k, etc.)
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HR systems and exposure to lean methodology / thinking

Job Responsibilities :
- Accurately prepare pension benefit calculations for multiple defined benefit plans, including collecting, manipulating, reconciling, and reviewing data
- Process daily incoming mail and manage documentation
- Serve as a subject matter expert for pension benefit administration, technical systems, and HRIS systems
- Support changes and updates in pension administration, identifying areas for process improvement
- Collaborate with legal to address ambiguities in plan documents, capturing discrepancies and creating standard documentation
- Comply with standard operating procedures and update documentation based on process enhancements
- Support the implementation of new pension technology, providing SME knowledge, testing, and issue resolution
- Provide support on special projects such as plan freezes, accrued benefit calculations, and pension payroll setups
Pay Details : $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
