Steelhead is looking to hire a highly motivated Project Manager to take the lead on heavy highway and bridge construction projects.
Candidates for this position need to be able to take ownership of their projects and to always be looking for ways to improve their work.

- Manage multiple projects while leading project engineering and on-site personnel.
- Project estimation and procurement.
- Oversee contracts, scheduling, and administration.
- Monitor, track, and account for the project budget.
- Implement change management.
- Maintain and build owner relationships.
Required
- 5+ years of experience in the heavy civil or highway construction industry
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team player who is eager to take ownership of their work
- Able to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Proficiency with Dexter and Chaney accounting software, Bid 2 Win Estimating and Tracking, HCSS Heavy Bid, HCSS Heavy Job, Primavera Scheduling, and Agtek Takeoff software
- Training in safety, First Aid, CPR, and SWPPP
- DOT and FHWA experience
