Description
Day to day will include installing new security systems and home automation products from Google such as Google Nest, doorbells, and cameras.
There will also be conversions and add-ons to existing systems. The systems are wireless and will involve working in tight spaces like attics and crawl spaces.
The Myrtle Beach territory is one of the biggest in the company. 50% of the jobs will be in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas but there will be times our tech will have jobs in Florence, Conway, Darlington, as far as Hartsville.
The schedule rotates Monday- Saturday and then Tuesday-Friday. So they will have Sundays / Monday off followed by Saturday / Sunday the following week.
There will be times where techs finish their day at 2 : 30 and other days where they may work until 7 : 00 or 8 : 00 pm.
Earl is not going to schedule a job to start after 4 : 00 pm unless it 's a small add on. Jobs start at 8 : 00 am but if they need to do a parts pick up that needs to be done prior to the first job.
They will usually have 2-3 jobs per day. There is the opportunity for OT and Upselling.
New ADT Contract :
Training rate : $17 / hour.
No mileage. We will bill OT moving forward during training so OT restrictions will be lessened. The training period will be determined by previous experience and how quickly the tech picks up the content.
It has been as short as a week or as long as 6 weeks.
Once the tech graduates from training :
- Up to $100 / week in gas receipt reimbursement.
- Miles in excess of 300 / week will be reimbursed at the standard government rate. Mileage tracked using TripLog app on their phone.
- The delivery team will walk through the specifics of how gas and mileage should be entered on the New Hire Call that takes places before they start.
- Commission paid for upsells- 6% of the value of the item upsold. Techs get paid the following month for upsells.
- Google Pixel phone issued for work related activities (TEKsystems pays for monthly bill)
- No more piece rate- going back to hourly bill rate. Bill rate varies by market tier.
- OT billed at 1.3x

Additional Information
