Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented and motivated Robotics Engineer with strong expertise in C++ to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the software that powers our robotic systems.
You will work closely with our hardware engineers and other software developers to create robust, scalable, and efficient robotics applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for our robotic systems using C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, to integrate software and hardware components.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for robot control, path planning, and sensor integration.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software and robotic systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and codebase.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and software engineering to ensure our products remain at the forefront of technology.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C++ with a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
- Experience in developing software for robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with robotic frameworks (e.g., ROS, Gazebo) and sensor integration.
- Knowledge of algorithms related to robot control, motion planning, and perception.
- Experience with Linux-based development environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with machine learning and AI as applied to robotics.
- Familiarity with other programming languages like Python, Golang, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with robotic hardware and embedded systems.
