ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Assemble patient charts for admissions / transfers / discharges per facility policy.
Distribute mail and announcements and post memos.
Dispatch messages to and from other departments.
Deliver mail (incoming / outgoing) for units.
Ensure adequate supply of forms and supplies.
Obtain lab, x-ray, and consult reports.
Identify and report equipment or environmental problems promptly for correction.
OTHER FUNCTIONS :
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in healthcare setting preferred. Administrative / clerical skills required.
