Sr DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Strong experience in building and designing complex deployment processes using cI / CD in an enterprise or start up
• Ability to understand current state of DevOps and infrastructure and deployment design the to be state in cloud (AWS).
• Will be responsible to interact with Execs in summarizing the to-be architecture and articulate its benefits regarding usability, scalability, availability and applicability.
• Should be strong in building CI / CD platform with script automation based on needs.
• Ability to improve performance of Build and release cycles.
• Understands network nuances and tries to come up with solutions
• Ability to think out of box and create automation scripts based on needs.

Qualifications :

• Prior experience in automating building infrastructure on demand using Terraform
• Prior experience with cloud formation templates and embedding them with Terraform
• Strong hands on skills in terraform and shell scripting such as Powershell or python
• Strong understanding of CI / CD process using Gitlab or Github
• Knowledge of building nodejs projects is a huge plus
• Prior experience and understanding of configuring load balancers, EC2, AutoScaling, API management tools, Caching technologies and automate building them using Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Good experience in architecting complex infrastructure solutions for low latency, zero down time and highly available system
• Deep understanding of managing config and property files for different environments while packaging artifacts.
• Knowledge of Artifactory / Nexus is a plus.
• Should have working knowledge of Application security & Infrastructure security and cloud security.
• application teams in realizing their physical infrastructure.
• Good experience in building CI / CD pipelines using Gitlab CI / CD or Github actions or similar products.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities in delegating work and yet being responsible for all detailed design aspects of physical infrastructure for enterprise.
• Proven story in delivering products / services in a high-growth environment (including start-ups).
• Exhibit strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous customer-focused problems.
• Good written, communication and presentation skills.
