This Account Manager role will focus on promoting our Compliance Management service that is powered by the web-based platform TrustLayer.

TrustLayer is a risk mitigation service / tool that assists clients with managing insurance requirements of their 3rd party subs / providers / vendors, etc.

This role will work closely with the sales team to provide a spectrum of innovative strategies to develop and maintain customer’s platform needs.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Special emphasis on contractual insurance requirements - review and certificate of insurance tracking.
  • Prepare and manage invoicing of services provided.
  • Prepare account stewardship reports for presentation.
  • Provide technical competence in areas of coverage and appropriate endorsements. Explain and clarify for client.
  • Manage client services, coordinate, and direct the activities.
  • Thorough documentation is required on each account with proper E&O procedures strictly followed.
  • Ability to handle very complex accounts.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements :

  • Education High School graduate required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with insurance compliance management for commercial lines clients with special emphasis on COI’s and endorsements.
  • Working knowledge of how to navigate a client’s contractual insurance requirements of their 3rd party vendors / providers / partners.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly with Excel and Word.
  • Comfortable with the use of technology specifically web-based platforms that are utilized to track our clients COI’s.
  • Must be organized and able to manage time effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both internal and external with clients.
  • Working knowledge of EPIC is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to work independently and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation :

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000. The offer will depend on the geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Heffernan offers a comprehensive benefits package;

  • Work environment is indoors, sitting at a desk or standing for extended periods of time.
