Oakwayne Medical Center provides Family practice and Urgent care services. We understand the importance of focusing on families, not individuals.

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week commitment. It is built specifically for those taking a gap year between undergraduate and graduate school.
It is not a summer internship. Boost your resume and gain valuable experience working in a busy medical clinic.
This position will :
- Provide students with real-world experience in their field of study.
- Provide interns with a valuable hands-on experience.
- Train interns to efficiently perform specific tasks.
- Provide interns with an education about how to do their jobs well, and how to maximize potential as employees of the company.
Required :
- Intent to pursue a career in medical profession
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Desired :
- Intent to pursue a career in medicine
- Familiarity with copiers / scanners
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
- Prior experience in patient care
