Quality Engineer

Develops & approvesinspection methods (plans) to Inspect parts & analyzeproduct quality.

Participates inreview & analysis of QSys compliance to Customer PO Qualityrelated flow downs.

Improveproduct quality by making recommendations forchange.

• Worktogether with relevant teams and departments to improveproducts.
• Beteam leader for company Zero Defects Programimplementation.
• Brainstormideas to create solutions for identifiedproblems
• Proactivelyrecommend solutions to inspection tasks to improve our ability tomeet customer requirements & provide technical support(i.e. Dwg GDT s & use ofCMM).
• AssistAuditor or inspector with proper documentation of results andfindings following Internal Quality Audits and / or inspections asneeded.
• Assistprocess owner (relevant Mgr / Supervisor) with proper documentationof CAR (RCCA) associated with findings following Internal QualityAudits or inspectors Rejection Report asneeded
• Implementa working system to ensure conformity and accuracy.
• Participatein developing reviewing or maintaining of company AS9102 FAI s andFinal inspection plans asrequired.
• Overseeinspection methods according to engineering / qualityrequirements.
• Managing(coordination) of customer RMA s internal rejections and associatedCAR s with MRBTeam.
• Participateas member of Material Review Board and Corrective Action Boardprocess.
• Reportingquality anomalies tomanagement.
• Identifyingareas for improvement in quality controlprocesses.
• Leadefforts to evaluate & develop techniques for the control ofquality & improvement of efficiencies &reliability.
• Workswith personnel at all levels to solve routine and specialissues.
• Participatein the implementation of company Quality Management
• Overseefinal acceptance testing and release for shipments of allproduct.
• Participatein the auditing and setting of metrics for the company asrequired.
• Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills.

Requirements

• Bachelorof Science degree Master s Degree in Engineering or QualityPreferred
• Certificationsin AS 9100 Quality Standards aplus.
• 10years in a manufacturingenvironment.
• Experiencein a quality assurance environment isrequired.
• Experiencegenerating documentation for Advanced Planning Quality Programs(APQP) such as PFMEA s MPR s etc.
• Proficiencyin computer technology and Coordinate Measuring Systemsoperation.
• Strongknowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel Visionand Charting.

10+ years in a manufacturing environment. Experience in aquality assurance environment is required. Experience generatingdocumentation for Advanced Planning Quality Programs (APQP) such asPFMEA s, MPR s etc.

Proficiency in computer technology andCoordinate Measuring Systems operation. Strong knowledge ofMicrosoft Office applications including Excel, Vision andCharting.
