Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry.
The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities :
- Analyze and resolve quality issues related to assembly, molding, and technical processes.
- Provide production planning based on customer needs and machine availability.
- Communicate technical updates to supervisors and management.
- Conduct hands-on team training to strengthen technical skills.
- Ensure safety compliance, report issues, maintain work area, and follow policies.
Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance :
- Repair and maintain mechanical components : gears, bearings, brakes, clutches, pumps, and valves.
- Troubleshoot and service hydraulic / pneumatic systems, conveyors, and compressors.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and operate hand / power tools.
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems, AC / DC controls, and PLCs.
Automation & Process Controls :
Maintain, troubleshoot, and program robots, photo eyes, VFD drives, and control loops.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of maintenance / technical experience in plastic injection molding
- 1+ year of mechanical / electrical experience
- 2+ years in preventive maintenance in medical injection molding
- Knowledge of GMP in Medical or Food Industry
- Experience troubleshooting processes and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, specs, and schematics
