As the Production Planner II you will maintain optimal workflow for the Production facility through short term finite scheduling, monitoring daily exceptions, analyzing data and resolving routine issues and work in our Bio-Rad Portland, Maine site.

As a Bio-Rad Planner, you will establish and maintain Production schedules as required by ERP system and / or manual Kanban with input from production, purchasing, quality control and marketing.

Generate data and run standard reports, summarize and communicate conclusions and make scheduling recommendations. Receive production schedule messages from production personnel and resolve or redirect issues and manage Master Data Governance (MDG) and / or work as the SAP Data Custodian.

How You'll Make An Impact :

  • Review / Optimize plant safety stocks to ensure OTIF goal of 95% is achieved.
  • Work with MDG team to update BOM / Routes to reflect current practices.
  • Create a Kanban / work flow system to ensure no raw material shortages occur in manufacturing .

What You Bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Product Supply Management or related discipline.
  • APICS CPIM certification a plus
  • 3-5 years Planning and Scheduling in a LEAN Manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced working with an ERP system.
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge in Microsoft Windows Office suite and thorough understanding of Routings and Bills of Material.

Compensation : The estimated base salary range for this position is $66,200 to $99,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.

This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
