Job Summary : We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our client's finance team.
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for managing the company’s financial assets, optimizing liquidity, and minimizing financial risks.
This role requires an understanding of financial markets, cash management, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities :
Cash Management :
- Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Execute daily cash positioning and short-term investments.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
Banking Relationships :
- Maintain and manage relationships with banking partners.
- Coordinate and negotiate bank services and fees.
- Assist in the opening and closing of bank accounts.
Financial Risk Management :
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with currency, interest rates, and investments.
- Develop and implement hedging strategies to manage risk exposure.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Treasury Operations :
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in treasury operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain treasury reports and documentation.
Systems and Technology :
- Utilize treasury management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of treasury technology solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within treasury systems.
Other Duties :
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial initiatives.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- Provide support to the Treasury Manager and senior leadership team.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience : 2-4 years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related field.
- Skills :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and risk management strategies.
