Apply now for the position of Senior ReliabilityEngineer , and you will join our Product Quality and Reliability teambased in Issaquah, WA, contributing to enhancing overall product quality andreliability of Ultrasound systems, transducers, and catheters, while alsomaking a significant impact on the patient experience.
This is an onsite position in our Issaquah, WA office.
Your Role :
- Create Hardware Reliability Plans, execute testsand document Reliability Reports. This will involve establishing product usecases, performing reliability predictions, facilitating FMEAs and performingHighly Accelerated Lift Tests (HALT), Reliability Growth Testing (RGT) andReliability Demonstration Testing (RDT).
- Create Manufacturing Reliability Test Plansbased on criticality of processes in manufacturing that affect product life andperformance in the field and publish Reliability Reports.
- Engage with cross-functional partners inHardware Design and Manufacturing to assess problems and risks, developimprovement opportunities, and support implementation of solutions.
- Participate in Failure Analysis activities andLead Field Performance Monitoring.
Your Expertise :
- Deep understanding of electrical and mechanicalfailure mechanism, ability to read electrical schematics is desirable.
- Highly familiar with manufacturing processes andequipment is advantageous, especially in Surface Mount manufacturing lines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), PowerBI, Minitab, Reliasoft, and familiarity withSAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
- Work with our latest technology, necessitatingyour willingness to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
- Guide the project team on all aspects of productquality and reliability.
- Your profile is rounded out by excellentpresentation skills in customer environments, showcasing your team orientation,communication abilities, and customer focus.
Required Skills, Education and Experience for thisposition :
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical ormechanical engineering or equivalent experience required.
- Professional certifications, e.g., CertifiedQuality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) are a plus.
- Minimum of 6 - 8 years of reliability experience,medical device experience preferred.
- Excellent engineering and analytical skills andgood judgment in assessing product reliability risks, with confidence inresolving complex issues requiring management attention.
- Leadership, verbal and written communication,and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and works withminimal direct supervision to multitask and lead workload to timely completion.
- Willing to travel, both national andinternational, up to 10%.
