Majestic Care is hiring for a Director of Central Intake at our home office in Westfield, IN. The Director of Intake is responsible for leading the process of intake and financial verification for skilled nursing home admissions and leading the central intake team.

The director of Central Intake will lead the central intake team to ensure efficient and effective processing of admissions and inquiries.
The role requies a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the admissions team to ensure all necessary paperwork and authorizations are in order to provide a seamless transition for newly admitted residents.
- Process all new resident referrals for Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky.
- Conduct sex offender registry checks for all new admissions before admission.
- Verify in-network vs. out-of-network benefits.
- Single case agreements where applicable.
- Initiate authorizations for Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) stays.
- Initiate return authorizations.
- Ensure peer to peer and appeals are completed when applicable.
- Trending reports for monthly expectations.
- End of month reporting for accuracy.
- Performs other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Supervise a team of intake specialist that may include, hiring, coaching, development, and termination.
Required / Desired Qualifications :
Education, Training, and Experience :
- Associate degree from an accredited college in business or equivalent in work experience.
- Prior experience as an intake specialist
- Prior experience leading a team is preferred.
