POSITION SUMMARY :

The Shipping & Receiving Associate is an integral position within Convergent Dental operations. The position works with Finance, Manufacturing, Customer Success, Procurement, and all other departments.

We are looking for a hands-on, self-motivated individual that can work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in order fulfillment, warehousing, and transportation, is energetic, and is a focused individual seeking increasing responsibility and challenge.

This position will report to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Verify receipts of Direct Materials & Indirect Materials to support manufacturing
• Verify, count, weigh and measure incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other paperwork.
• Maintain neat and organized material storage.
• Ensure timely follow-up to delayed or pending items to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Ship goods ensuring deadlines are achieved and complete documentation is included.
• Participate in inventory recording and ensure accuracy.
• Perform inventory functions within NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning program
• Receive inbound materials by verifying labeling and quantities of material against documentation and enter in system and ensure proper storage.
• Participates in all job-related safety training.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 years experience as a Shipper / Receiver.
• Strong computer skills, with preferred experience with excel.
• An ability to use or learn manufacturing and order processing software / systems.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with teams and solve issues that may arise.
• Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Safety and quality focus.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, with a 9 : 00am to 6 : 00pm schedule, M-F.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED

This position is located at 100 Fifth Avenue in Waltham, MA. at our Corporate Headquarters.
