Tetra Tech is currently seeking a part-time, Grant Write r to assist with the preparation of EPA Brownfields grants, working for our Cincinnati office.
This is a fully remote position.
The selected candidate will assist with the preparation of EPA Brownfields grant applications on behalf of municipalities.
In addition, the candidate will :
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
- Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and reports.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather information necessary for proposals.
- Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders.
- Track and report on the status of grant applications and funding received.
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and regulations.
- Assist in the development of fundraising strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in grant writing activities, with a successful track record of securing funding.
- Clear and effective communications skills; candidates may be asked to provide writing samples.
- Consistently strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow through required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, energy, and an enthusiastic collaborator.
- Fluent in English and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Consistently strong organizational skills, demonstrate attention to detail, and follow through.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage time well and work on multiple concurrent tasks.

Degree / Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in English or Education or technical field.
- Master's degree preferred.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position.
The hourly rate of pay for this position is $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on education, experience, skills, and location.
