At Collins Community Credit Union, we're on a mission to achieve excellence, and that starts with unwavering compliance. We're seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to join our team and play a vital role in safeguarding our company's integrity.
Some of what you'll do :
- Be our champion of compliance, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive compliance program that aligns with industry standards and regulations.
Specifically some of the areas include BSA & OFAC, SAFE Act, CIP, USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending, HMDA, TILA and TISA, etc.
- Assist Examiners and Auditors with during fieldwork, reporting, and monitoring remediation of findings.
- Provide clear and conscience guidance to employees on compliance matters, fostering a culture of awareness and accountability.
- Partner with various departments to integrate compliance best practices into everyday operations. Oversite of advertisement content and collateral.
- Stay up to date on evolving regulations and industry trends keeping us ahead of the curve.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations for management on compliance activities and risk assessments.
- Manage a team of Compliance, fraud and BSA Specialists.
Who you are :
- A strategic thinker with a minimum of 3 years in a compliance management role.
- Possess a deep understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards within the Credit Union sector.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and a talent for risk assessment.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex regulations into clear and understandable language for all staff levels.
- A strong leader who can effectively collaborate across departments and build a culture of compliance.
