SEEKING A UNIQUE LEADERSHIP ROLE with CLOSE-KNIT, CARING AND COMPASSIONATE TEAMMATES working with seniors? The Resident Care Coordinator will provide leadership while assisting the Directors of Resident Care and Mind & Memory Care in carrying out the successful operation of the resident care department to foster the highest degree of quality care.

You will assist in coordinating and supporting a friendly and dynamic team of Home Health Aides / Certified Nurse Assistants and will act as Mind & Memory Director in her absence.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedules and supervises resident care staff
  • Hires, trains and coaches care staff
  • Provides information and support to families related to care needs
  • Assures and maintains compliance with all resident care and state regulations such as shift logs and trackers
  • Actively participates in the QA and audit processes
  • Participates in marketing tours
  • Provides and / or promotes staff educational programs, monitors attendance and compliance with mandatory training as required
  • Participates in regularly scheduled management meetings
  • Ensures that all resident rights and responsibilities are protected and enforced
  • Promotes an environment that allows residents to function as independently as possible
  • Coordinates with appropriate department directors and supervisors for services provided to the residents
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide in MA with experience in a similar role, including supervision
  • 2+ years of experience working as a nurse in a senior care facility preferred
  • Possesses current CPR, First Aid and Heimlich certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Proficient with MS Office and senior living management applications
