THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a local CPA firm in their search for an Audit Manager to help lead their audit department.
Qualified candidates will have 6+ years of experience in private, public, and non-profit accounting, 2+ years of leadership experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting, and an active CPA license.
Essential Job Duties :
- Client Liaison Extraordinaire : Serves as the pivotal link between shareholders, clients, and professional staff, ensuring client expectations are not just met but exceeded.
- Audit Maestro : Lead your team through the intricacies of the audit process, implementing new audit and accounting standards with finesse.
- Engaging Presenter : Conduct meetings with clients and boards to present financial statements, communications, and post-audit insights.
- Mentor and Trainer : Develop and train our Staff and Seniors, providing invaluable feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Marketing Enthusiast : Execute marketing objectives that enhance our firm's visibility and client engagement
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 6+ years of experience in private, public, and non-profit accounting required
- 2+ years of experience in leadership required
- Active Certified Public Accountant license (CPA)
- 25% of travel within the state of MN (primarily in the Twin Cities) required
Job Details :
- Direct-hire opportunity with excellent benefits package!
- Hybrid work model - 50% onsite (primarily at client sites)
- Monday to Friday - 8 am to 5 pm w / additional hours during audit season required
- Pay depends on experience - starting at $70k / year.
