Currently we are looking for a full timePatient Care Coordinator for our Manteca location who will alsoprovide coverage to our locations in Lodi Stockton Tracy ValleySprings Ripon Modesto Oakdale and Riverbank as needed.
Schedule needed : Monday Friday 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm

PatientCare Coordinator
ESSENTIALPOSITIONDUTIES
- Greetswarmly and maintains a friendly welcoming relationship with allpatients and clients including among others physicians andphysician officestaff
- Clearlycommunicates with all staff including clinical and corporateemployees in a friendly and courteousmanner
- Responsiblefor answering phones and greeting patients with the utmostprofessionalism andcare
- Schedulesnew patients and collects all necessary information in order toverify insurance withcarrier
- Accuratelyand completely enters patient information and demographics intocomputersystem
- Submitspatient insurance information in a timely fashion to ensurebenefits are verified before the patient’s initialevaluation
- Providespatients with an explanation of their benefits and thoroughlyanswers allquestions
- Callsand confirms new patientappointments
- Collectscopays / deductibles and payments prior to patient being seen byprovider per elished policies and procedures. Inform patient of anyoutstanding balance and issues receipt when monies arecollected
- Worksclosely with Billing Department Physical Therapists and Aide staffto ure smooth patientflow
- Followup on no show patients on a dailybasis
- Treatmentauthorization and / or continued treatment Rx followup
- Maintainspatient confidence and protects operations by keeping informationconfidential
- Maintainsschedule targets by reporting percentages of arrivals cancelationsand rescheduled appointments to Regional AdministrationManager
- Maintainsphysical therapy supplies inventory by checking stock to determineinventory level; anticipating needed supplies and communicating toperson in charge orordering
- Participatesin and adheres to as required the HIPAA Policies and Procedures ofTherapy PartnersGroup

EducationandExperience
Education : High School diploma orequivalent
Experience : 12 years prior experience in customer service and administrationpreferred; medical or PT front office experiencerequired.
PhysicalRequirements and Working Conditions : Requires prolonged sitting somewalking bending stooping reaching and stretching.
Requires eyehandcoordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboardmouse photocopier telephone calculator and other equipment.
Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record prepare andpresent reports.
