The BDC Leader is a technically savvy individual who can drive the internet sales department in sales and customer service.
This person will have at least 3 years of Automotive Dealership Business Development experience.
He or she must consistently and profitably meet vehicle sales quotas through expert management and leadership of the sales team and by forecasting sales and maintaining proper inventory levels in terms of amount and vehicle types.
In addition, the Internet Sales Manager hires, trains, and monitors team members’ performance; resolves customer complaints;
and helps with closings when necessary.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate in a clear and efficient way with consumers to assist our established Internet Sales teams to help turn leads into appointments and sales.
Excellent leadership abilities and a proven track record are required to be successful in this role. Previous automotive sales experience is required, preferably specializing in Internet or BDC Sales.
- Manage all other aspects of the Internet Sales Department
- Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network
- Develops viable sales forecasts and associated sales strategies
- Hires, trains, and monitors team member performance
- Establishes sales quotas and manages overall sales goals
- Respond to a high volume of customer inquiries by phone, email text, and chat
- Monitors and adjusts inventory to optimize customer choice
- Helps maintain the dealership's website, including taking photos of current inventory
- Prominently displays web address throughout the dealership, on business cards, in all dealership advertising, and in all other appropriate media
- Helps promote the dealership online via Social Media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)

Qualifications
- Knowledge of automotive systems like eLeads, V-auto, UCS, Dealer Track and other automotive technology systems.
- Possess more than two years of automotive BDC experience, required
- Automotive sales experience with verifiable proof of meeting sales targets
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Computer and Phone abilities (Internet, MS, Outlook, CRM)
- Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public daily
