We’re looking to hire a Sr Video Editor for a Fortune 500 technology client . Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences.
You’ll join the Video team to ·edit and assemble raw footage into engaging and visually appealing videos. This is a 12 month contract + extension .
The team is located in Culver City, CA , and the role is on-site 5 days / week 1pm-10pm PST.
Sr Video Editor Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the Creative Director in Marketing to edit engaging video content
- Project types : tutorials, how-tos, and app demos for products posted on e-commerce website
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts
- Add special effects, graphics, and sound effects to enhance videos
- Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and style standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and technologies
Sr Video Editor Requirements :
- 3+ years' experience with p ost-production expertise
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of feature and episodic post-production workflows, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Create, analyze, and troubleshoot master-level QC reports for audio and video assets, maintaining the highest standards.
- Possess a practical knowledge of audio / video containers, codecs, and file formats, including cutting-edge technologies like HDR (Dolby Vision & HDR-10) and Dolby Atmos.
- Operate proficiently in various mastering and NLE software programs, including ColorFront Transkoder + QC Player, ProTools, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Be a technical problem solver, able to work independently and overcome challenges effectively.
