Job description
HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Logistics Driver to be responsible for safe and accurate deliveries within the company network.
We're looking for someone that holds a valid Class A drivers license. The ideal candidate has prior experience with tractor-trailer driving plus a clean driving record.
You will be responsible for assisting the transition toward being a more production-ready company.
As a Logistics Driver, you'll :
- Operate and safely deliver materials and vehicles.
- Pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs.
- Ensure goods are transported in a safe and efficient manner complying with DOT regulations.
- Perform inspections of materials and company assets.
- Maintain communication / collaboration with dispatch and testing technicians.
- Maintain and service vehicle as needed (e.g. refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide an excellent internal / external customer experience.
Requirements
- Valid Class A driver's license
- Clean driving record with no moving violations
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Hands on approach to get the job done
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and adjust to provide a great customer experience
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Must be flexible on work hours
Preferred Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving

Commitment : This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Tracy, CA area.
