Network Cloud Operations is responsible for 24x7 operations, administration, and maintenance of server infrastructure in Client s NC (Network Cloud) Linux-based environment.

This role involves deployment of software updates on this cloud platform, comprised of Linux OS, BIOS / firmware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Calico, Ceph, MariaDB, and other software components.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Performs work focusing on software, maintenance, and operations of systems used by Client or its clients to conduct business.
• Conducts feasibility assessments, creates requirements, manages projects, and integrates and tests technical solutions for software.

Primary / Mandatory Skills

• Expertise across Linux, KVM, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Containers, Cloud Infrastructure platforms, and server infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills in Linux, Cloud, OpenStack, and Kubernetes systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack modules like Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Heat, Glance, Horizon, and Fuel.
• Familiarity with concepts such as High Availability, DRS, Fault Tolerance, Scalability, Reliability, and shared resources.
• Experience creating, reviewing, approving, and implementing changes in the NC server environment.
• Proficiency in restoring applications / services in the NC infrastructure during outage / service degradation scenarios (hardware / OpenStack / OS).
• Python & shell scripting.
• Experience in deploying NC Server infrastructure (Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes).
• CI / CD Pipeline knowledge and understanding, particularly in Jenkins and GitHub.
• Coordination with OS vendors, development teams, and production support teams for root cause analysis and configuration changes.
• Experience coordinating with hardware vendors (Client, HP) for hardware replacement.
• Customer-focused mindset to deliver an effortless experience.
• Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational shift operations.
• Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across diverse teams in different regions and cultures.
• Certification in Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes Systems Administration is preferable.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills (verbal and written).
