Position : Certified Medication Aide

Job Description :
We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at our healthcare facility. The Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for administering medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Responsibilities :
Administer medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers- Ensure patients receive medications on time and in the correct dosage- Document medication administration in patients' charts- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medication and report them to healthcare providers- Assist healthcare providers in updating medication orders and ensuring accurate medication administration- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent- Certification as a Medication Aide- Previous experience in medication administration preferred- Strong attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Salary : Starting from $20.50 per hour
Schedule :
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education :
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience :
- CMA : 2 years (Required)
- Rehabilitation Center : 2 years (Preferred)
- Active CNA & CMA licenses
License / Certification :
Certified Medical Assistant & CNA (Required)
Work Location : In person
