The Position
Our bank client is seeking to fill a Deposit Operations Specialist role to be based in the Boston, MA market. The successful candidate will be processing all deposit operations related items including items processing, incoming and outgoing wires, approving mobile capture items, daily ATM and Debit card balancing, Regulation E processing, levy and summons to trustee processing, general ledger, and bank-owned DDA balancing, returned mail tracking, front line, and branch support.
This position offers a generous base salary and full benefits program. (This is not a remote position.)
Deposit Operations Specialist responsibilities include :
- Supporting the day-to-day deposit and payment operations of our retail and commercial customers.
- Managing cash orders for bank commercial vaults and managing Trust processing.
- Regulation E processing for debit cards and ACH.
- Balancing general ledger, bank-owned DDA’s, and maintaining deposit accounts.
- Processing incoming and outgoing wires, returned items incoming and outgoing, and processing Fed adjustments.
- Maintaining risk controls for ACH and Wire Processing.
- Processing monetary transactions for front-end department staff.
- Coordinating activities of assigned projects related to deposit, payment, and treasury operations.
- Completing setup and changes for all Business Online Banking requests and all Cash Management service requests including Cash Consolidator.
- Creating new sub-accounts for 1031 and property management companies.
- Researching issues for front line and branch staff.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management related field preferred.
- Two or more years of operational or branch manager experience.
- Solid background in bank operations, including retail and back office areas.
- Excellent communication skills, knowledge of word and excel applications.
- Ability to assist front-end staff and branches in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
- Multi-task-oriented and exceptional organization skills.
