Position : Part-time Safety Case Manager

Eagle Quest is seeking passionate and dedicated Safety Case Managers to join our growing team! This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with children and families in our community, providing valuable support and resources.

Evening shifts and weekend availability are needed, and there is potential for full-time employment.

Job Description :

As a Safety Case Manager, you will work within the Safe@Home program, connected to the Department of Family Services, to support families in their homes. This role includes :

• Participating in intake meetings with caseworkers and families.
• Implementing aspects of the Safety Plan and reviewing assessments and other information related to families.
• Building rapport with families and planning home visits, services, and sessions as outlined in the safety plan.
• Completing session notes promptly.
• Researching and connecting families to appropriate services and programs.
• Maintaining regular communication with the Department of Family Services.
• Administering outcome measurement forms and client surveys.
• Planning for discharge in collaboration with caseworkers, including identifying aftercare needs.
• Attending and participating in trainings, agency, department, and team meetings.

Requirements :

Background in social services, such as a degree in social work, psychology, human services, counseling, or a related field.

An AA degree is the minimum requirement.

• At least one year of experience working with at-risk children, youth, and / or families; two or more years of experience is preferred.
• Experience working with families from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.
• Ability to complete and pass an FBI and local background check, as well as a Child Abuse and Neglect (CANS) history check.
• Nevada Driver’s License (with current auto insurance).
