Job Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA at Seniors Helping Seniors, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional in-home care to our clients.
You will work closely with our clients to support their daily living activities and ensure their comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
- Personal Care : Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide support with toileting and incontinence care.
- Mobility Assistance : Help clients with mobility, including transferring and positioning, and assist with walking or using mobility aids.
- Health Monitoring : Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional conditions. Assist with basic health monitoring tasks such as measuring vital signs.
- Medication Assistance : Assist with medication reminders and, if required, administer medications according to the care plan.
- Household Support : Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Companionship : Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging in activities that enhance the client's quality of life and mental well-being.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, including daily logs and any changes in client condition.
- Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other caregivers, family members, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications :
- Certification : Valid CNA certification.
- Experience : Previous experience as a CNA or in a similar caregiving role is preferred, especially with elderly clients.
- Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, compassionate nature, and ability to provide emotional support.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to perform physical tasks related to patient care, including lifting and transferring clients.
- Background Check : Must pass a background check.
