Key Responsibilities : Re-underwrite closed loan files to ensure compliance with agency or lender guidelinesAnalyze compliance documentation and closing documents for adherence to federal and state lawsPrepare formal written responses to agencies / investors regarding audit findings and deficienciesRequired Qualifications : Minimum 5 years of underwriting experience in both manual and automated environmentsKnowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelinesExperience with Ellie Mae EncompassUnderstanding of transaction components that indicate potential fraudProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
