The COO will be overseeing all operational facets of the organization with a specific focus on manufacturing stabilizers and hydraulic power systems for luxury yachts, small commercial vessels, and military ships.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will lead a global team, driving excellence, efficiency, and innovation across all departments to ensure the company's strategic objectives are met and sustained growth is achieved.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market reach and achieve sustained growth in the maritime manufacturing sector.
- Health and Safety : Prioritize and enforce a safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations.
- Operational Excellence : Oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes, optimizing efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Team Management : Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration : Facilitate collaboration among departments and entities to streamline operations and drive synergy.
- Quality Assurance : Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain product excellence and meet customer expectations consistently.
- Research and Development : Stay abreast of industry trends and drive innovation and R&D efforts to enhance product performance and features.
- Supply Chain Management : Manage the supply chain, including procurement of raw materials and components, to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Customer Focus : Maintain and develop client relationships, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly, and seeking opportunities to expand the customer base globally.
- Financial Management : Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial goals are met.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, liaising with regulatory bodies as necessary.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Proven leadership experience in the maritime manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on stabilizers and hydraulic power systems.
