An exciting start up in the antibody therapeutics field is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bioinformatics Scientist to join their growing team.
This person will be a key player in their interdisciplinary team and will play a crucial role in advancing technological capabilities and contributing to antibody engineering efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics and a passion for both biology and software engineering
Responsibilities
- Develop bioinformatics pipelines and tools for novel and diverse data domains ranging from genomics and proteomics to computer vision
- Maintain software solutions for data integration, visualization, and analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including biologists, chemists, and engineers, to understand project goals and contribute to multidisciplinary research projects.
- Integrate diverse biological datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive drug discovery efforts.
- Implement data storage and retrieval solutions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in bioinformatics research working with diverse data types.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in relevant bioinformatics and data engineering tools.
- Experience with version control systems and a commitment to software best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse disciplines.

- Domain knowledge in immunology and antibody engineering

Compensation Range : $140,000 / yr-180,000 / yr
