Responsibilities
- Participate in appropriate educational programs relating to clinical practice and / or communication and continuing education required to maintain necessary licensures and certifications.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patients.
- Comply with all Center policies, procedures, code of conduct and compliance program.
- Participate in quarterly fire and disaster drills.
- Attend Center meetings as applicable and participate in orientation and staff development programs.
- Assume the responsibility for assurance of patient safety during the period of enforced dependency created intra-operatively.
- Comply with AAMI and AORN Standards to perform appropriate sterilization of instruments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED
- Current BLS certification
- One year prior experience
