Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH is looking for a Senior Engineer who will play a critical role in helping our organization optimize its technological systems and processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving our current systems, identifying areas for improvement, and designing and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.

You will work closely with other members of the IT team as well as with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Define product technical integration policies and platforms (e.g. EDI, VAN services, XML / UEDF, APIs / services, batch feeds)
  • Provide technical expertise for enterprise build-out in support of supply chain management and service enablement (e.g.

shipping / receiving, inventory allocation, virtual warehousing, device activations, and provisioning)

Understanding of AWS services is required to support supply chain applications

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or similar
  • 4+ years of development experience with :
  • AWS using EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudFront, EKS and Batch process
  • Java
  • Python

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Champion managing cloud environments by cloud best practices and security guidelines
  • Deep understanding of Infrastructure as code solutions and tools, such as Terraform, and Cloudformation
  • Deep understanding of DevOps and agile methodologies
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines
  • AWS certifications (Professional level and higher) are a plus

Salary Ranges

Compensation : $96,250.00 / Year - $137,500.00 / Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies;

compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
