Project Management Specialist 3

JOB DESCRIPTION

Volt is immediately hiring Project Management Specialist in El Segundo, CA.

As Project Management Specialist, you will :

Strong understanding of scheduling concepts (predecessor / successor logic, critical path, etc.); familiar with Agile development and able to integrate into IMS framework.

Report (document and brief) weekly and monthly status, variance, and metrics to program management. Track progress of cost, schedule, and technical performance using Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM).

Lead quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) assessment and updates.

This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.

This position requires Active TS / SCI Clearance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

3-years of experience with EVMS.

Top 3-5 Skills / Qualifications :

1. 3-years of experience with EVMS

2. 3+ years of Strong understanding of scheduling concepts (predecessor / successor logic, critical path, etc.); familiar with Agile development and able to integrate into IMS framework.

3. Report (document and brief) weekly and monthly status, variance, and metrics to program management

4. Track progress of cost, schedule, and technical performance using Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM).

5. Lead quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) assessment and updates

Preferred Skills / Qualifications :

Familiar with Agile Development Processes & JIRA (min years of experience) preferred.

Pay Range : $55.00 - $65.00 per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
