Position Summary : The Customer Service Supervisor manages the daily operations of the customer service team developing, implementing, and maintaining processes, procedures and programs to improve customer service.
What you’ll do :
- Provides day to day supervision and assistance to customer service team;
- Ensures adequate phone coverage and monitors calls;
- Establishes schedules and maintains work standards to ensure quality and timeliness;
- Answers incoming calls and processes orders per customer item specifications;
- Develops and recommends improvements to work flow, internal procedures, or forms design and
- usage;
- Interviews and hires new staff, prioritizes, assigns, and reviews work;
- Provides and coordinates staff training and the use of new procedures;
- Coaches employees to correct deficiencies and implements discipline procedures;
- Investigates and researches escalated customer service inquiries;
- Responsible for adhering to food security, food safety regulations and policies (SQF, HACCP,
CGMPs))
- Observes and evaluates employee performance annually
