EEG Technologist (Part-time)

Cortica is seeking a per-diem EEG Technologist with pediatric EEG experience and familiarity with Cadwell equipment!

What will you do?

• Setup, operate, and maintain routine and ambulatory EEGs.
• Perform equipment diagnostics when needed.
• Keeping an inventory of EEG supplies.
• Apply electrodes to a patient’s head without an expectation that the patient will remain still or be able to follow directions.
• Serve as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team working with children with developmental disabilities and their families / caregivers.
• Teammates are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Team members must occasionally lift and / or move up to 30 pounds.
• Basic understanding of and ability to use basic software and systems including, but not limited to, electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products;

daily use of laptop and / or tablet for email, note taking, and other tasks required.

• You are a graduate of Nationally Accredited Neurodiagnostic program.
• You possess an associate degree.
• You have experience working with pediatric patients with autism and other developmental disorders.
• Registered Electroencephalography Technologist Certification (REEGT) preferred.
• You have a BLS Certification.
• You are able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The base pay range for this opening is $35.80 to $44.74 . According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
