ATC Healthcare is looking for Registered Nurses!   Registered Nurses provide skilled nursing services to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. The Registered Nurse, or RN, is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.

Hiring in Des Moines, IA!! OR RN!!

Here are a few quick details about the position :

  • Title :  OR
  • Location :  Des Moines, IA
  • Facility Type :  UnityPoint - Iowa Methodist Medical Center
  • Schedule : 3x12s or 4x10s  nights, 13 weeks, 36-40 hours guaranteed
  • Compensation :   $2,800 per week
  • Start Date : 7 / 7 / 25

Unit Notes

  • Avg. caseload  – We average 35-50 cases per day.  Our expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes.
  • Special equipment  – We have 3 Davinci robots, we use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and we use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma.  We don’t do many ortho joints.
  • How many suites  – We have 16 OR’s.  We run from 12-14 routinely.  As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas.
  • Service lines -   Cardiac / PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants.  We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures.
  • Scrub or Circulate – both would be preferred.
  • Other – the call for weekends is from end of shift on Friday until 0630am Monday.

    • SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of current OR experience
  • Scrub and Circulating experience
  • strong experience in majority of cases including ortho, neuro, trauma, abdominal
  • Level I experience
