URGENT HIRING

• Part Time
• 9 am to 2 pm in the morning 3 days a week (Wednesday / Thursday / Friday) and occasional weekends in Kannapolis 28083 zip code
• Previous Home Health Aide / CNA Experience required, Training available.

The Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker / companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence. Essential Functions :

• Personal Care with ADLs and IADLsProvide assistance with : bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
• Companion / Sitter / Household Management Provide companionship and respite services for family
• Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
• Client is a woman in late 80s and the family needs immediate assistance for 5 hours daily / 3days a week.
• Occasional Transportation to run errands within 5 mile radius once a week.

Qualifications / Educational Requirements :

• High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
• Clean background with no history.

Must be :

• Willing to keep client active
• Good at communicating
