Information Services Administrator

General Summary

Reporting to the Library Manager and part of the Information Services Group, the Information Services Administrator will be responsible for the administration of IDs for external information resources, the data integrity of subscription inventory, related reporting, and administration tasks for IB InfoServices.

Essential Functions

  • ID administration for global Investment Banking adhering to Jefferies policies
  • Creation of detailed reports to generate insights and analyze subscription / market data information
  • Understand key stakeholder questions across the business in order to design and create reports and dashboards that transform data into meaningful, actionable insights
  • Proactive review of user lists and usage reports to ensure inventory is accurately tracked and unnecessary spend is avoided
  • Coordinate with the firm's Market Data Services group to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data in Jefferies' inventory system (Calero)
  • Work with Jefferies IT to implement single sign-on (SSO) for subscriptions
  • Resolution of billing and end user inquiries relating to information services
  • Assistance with procurement tasks
  • Assistance with contract renewals
  • Coordination of end user training
  • General support of Information Services staff including expense reports, travel arrangements, and meeting scheduling.

Experience / Skills required

  • Proven administration experience in a corporate setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
  • The ability to multi-task and follow through on numerous projects.
  • Knowledge of MS 365 including strong Excel skills, Outlook, and Teams.
  • The ability to manipulate and interpret large quantities of data
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Calero / MDSL a plus

Salary Range of $65,000-$105,000

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications. In addition to salary, Jefferies offers, for eligible employees, an annual discretionary incentive and retention bonus, competitive employee benefits, including : medical, dental & vision coverage;
