Join the Lakeshore Chinooks this summer for a unique, hands-on experience in TV production within collegiate summer baseball. This position offers behind-the-scenes access to the operations of a sports organization in the Northwoods League, with a focus on live television production. As the TV Production Director & Supervisor, you will oversee the broadcast production of each of the 36 Chinooks home games, including pre-game shows and live game coverage aired on the Northwoods League Baseball Network and ESPN+ Streaming Service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate equipment such as cameras, switchers, and audio / sound systems.
  • Manage team of camera operators
  • Create live wire-cast graphics for broadcasts.
  • Direct and produce live HD game productions.
  • Assist with daily press box setup and takedown.
  • Communicate with ESPN and Streaming Services to manage the webcast for select home games.
  • Coordinate with the broadcaster to produce a live pre-game show for each home game webcast.
  • Set up and take down production equipment and press box materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Attend stadium set up & take down prior to and following the season
  • Quality and accuracy of work
  • Must be available for all Chinooks home games (which include weeknights, weekends, and some holidays)
  • Must be available for any Chinooks related special events
  • Completion of assigned tasks on schedule
  • Cooperation, responsiveness, dependability, and proper attitude in dealing with others including co-worker and customers
  • Conformance to company personnel, safety, quality, and housekeeping policies, procedures, and practices
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a current student (undergraduate or graduate)
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization as well as outside contacts
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
