Quicksight Reporting Engineer

Innova’s direct client is seeking an AWS QuickSight Reporting Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract to HIRE .

100% REMOTE, working in AZ time zone.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the design and delivery of reports and insights for performance metrics to support business units across the organization.
• Improve Data Lake adoption by developing and maintaining reusable data models that align with business rules.
• Streamline processes to extract, transform and load data into the Data Lake.
• Identify and deploy techniques to improve and monitor data integrity.
• Contributes to team effort by participating in Agile Kanban teams and delivering results for assigned IT projects, enhancements, and support tasks.
• Meets the business scope and objectives of the enterprise by developing and implementing proactive monitoring of critical business services.
• Maintains technical currency by seeking, acquiring, and promptly applying new knowledge and skills, new technology, business-related information, and emerging industry practices.

Maintains fundamental understanding of client business functions.

Protects the Company by handling business sensitive information with appropriate confidentiality.

Qualifications :

• 3+ years’ experience with report writing in AWS QuickSight.
• 3+ years of experience working with databases and ETL (extract, transform, and load) technologies, preferably with AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, Python
• 3+ years of experience working with and creating datasets and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
• 3+ years of SQL skills which include ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
• Working knowledge of data mining principles : predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
• Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques : hypothesis development, designing tests / experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
• Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Agile Software development
• Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

• The targeted hourly range is $ 50-52 / hour.
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
