JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Title : Tennis Pro Shop Weekend & Closing Manager
Reports to : Assistant Director of Tennis
FLSA Status : Non-exempt
Job Summary
The Tennis Pro Shop Weekend & Closing Manager is a full-time position that provides customer service, sales assistance and closing duties in the Tennis Pro Shop.
Essential Duties include, but are not limited to
- Providing customer service to club members and their guests.
- Completing merchandise sales transactions through the tennis shop POS system
- Assisting customers with purchases and merchandise questions as needed.
- Providing other member services as requested such as taking phone messages and making court reservations.
- Maintaining and organizing the locker room amenities.
- Develop and maintains shop displays.
- Promote daily tennis shop sales and superior customer relations.
- Conducts daily closing procedures.
- Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary to the position.
Education and / or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail, customer service, or sales
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- General computer skills with ability to operate the POS (will train)
- Must be able to work weekends and closing shifts.
- Tennis knowledge is a plus, but not required
