Description
The Thought Leadership Analyst Solutions and Private Markets is responsible for conducting research and content to support Invesco’s multi-asset and private market capabilities in creative and accessible ways and presenting the findings to global institutions, financial professionals, and their end clients.
The Thought Leadership Analyst will support existing Solutions programs such as the Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA) monthly report, the Capital Market Assumptions (CMA) quarterly report, the annual CMA methodology, and produce ad-hoc client requested analysis.
Further, the analyst will support in the development of a private markets thought leadership program consisting of flagship reports, client education and investment commentaries.
You will be responsible for :
- Managing processes for producing Solutions monthly TAA report, quarterly CMA report and annual CMA methodology update.
- Working with Solutions and private markets investment teams to generate ideas and concepts that represent the firm’s multi-asset and private markets capabilities.
- Researching various macro / market topics to address investor challenges and persistent client concerns.
- Developing novel and innovative methods for representing views and guides the promotion of those views across multiple mediums (digital, podcasts, interactive microsites).
- Designing and maintaining procedures and tools that make data management and investment research more efficient.
- Maintaining, updating, and renewing existing programs and presentations.
- Training internal partners, including Distribution, on the content architecture and the findings within it.
- Building opportunities to engage with external clients to consult on firm’s macro / investment insights and client-engagement programs.
The experience you bring :
- 3-5 years of experience in developing multi-asset thought leadership at a reputable investment firm.
- Experience in delivering / presenting content and programs to institutions and financial professionals.
- Ability to comprehend, assess, and interpret macro and investment trends. An understanding of muti-asset portfolio theory and private markets.
- Experience in building and maintaining a research database and working with large data to perform statistical and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals and range of investment backgrounds, both written and verbally.
- Ability to effectively utilize data programs such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Pitchbook, Morningstar Direct, and MacroBond.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills required. Coding skills highly valued but not required.
- Superior organization skills and proven ability to attend to details. Ability to prioritize work and allocate time effectively to maximize impact to investment process.
Formal education : (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
- Degrees in economics or finance is strongly preferred but not required.
- License / Registration / Certification : (minimum requirement to perform job duties).
- MBA degree or CFA designation is strongly preferred but not required.
The salary range for this position in Newport Beach and New York City is $90,000 - $130,000 / year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
