The position will be responsible for data coding and analysis for active research being conducted by Dr. Kayla Preito-Hodge in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice.
The position will utilize DeDoose, Stata, and R software. Research projects will critically examine the intersections of race and policing.
Position Status Part Time Hours Per Week up to 20 hours Daily Work Shift Day Work Arrangement FLSA Nonexempt Position Salary $16 - $25 per hour Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Terms of Appointment Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific / technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and / or relevant laboratory technician or research study experience carrying out research protocols and tests, or other technical work may be substituted for the degree.
Certifications / Licenses Preferred Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelors Degree required (advanced undergraduate students may be considered).
Experience in mixed methods research highly preferred. Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis software required.
