- Vendor Management : Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import operations.
- Inventory Management : Monitor and manage inventory if required
- Cost Management : Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to optimize costs.
- Problem Resolution : Address and resolve any issues or delays in the import process.
- Reporting : Maintain accurate records and generate reports on import activities and performance metrics.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Knowledge of Import Regulations : Familiarity with international trade laws and customs regulations.
- Attention to Detail : Ability to manage detailed documentation and ensure accuracy.
